To my favorite paisano friend ... You will be so missed. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't see pictures of your children and grandchildren. At least 10 times of the same picture, too! I know you loved your entire family as I was reminded daily. My Italian friend my heart is heavy and I will see you one day again trust me. I will have a lb. of locatelli cheese with me just for you. I am sorry for the loss of Joey and I hope that all of the good memories get the entire Versace family through this difficult time. I worked with Joe for 13 years and I can't even begin to tell his family how much they were loved. I always knew to get ready to look at pictures when I heard him coming up the stairs. RIP Joe!!!

What can you say about a man who had a mountain side named after him? He was loved by all, a kind gentle giant. I hope He is at peace and collecting the angels trading cards. He would tell you that rookie cards are worth more...but to have Him in our lives was priceless. I will miss you Uncle Joe and will forever remember the times we shared.

Strong but gentle; always a devoted interest in some hobby (I remember most dancing and karate); hard working; schooling me as a child in football, lake fishing and other things; always upbeat. Though we saw each other every day in the neighborhood, I remember most and am most appreciative of the time I spent with him and his family in the summer house in Cecil. I think I got to know him best during that time. A wonderful guy!
