Dear Bill, Erin and Scott,

I am very saddened by this news. When I think of Karen, I think of her strength first, then her positive outlook, her beauty and her giving spirit. I'm sorry that Karen and I lost touch through the years. I dreamt of her in a dream last night, she looked so happy. When we seen each other we hugged and her hug felt so real. I told her how much I loved her and then I woke up. I had tears down my face and I feel she blessed me with that opportunity. I will continue to pray for Karen and each of you.
May God continue to Bless you!

My condolences to the Straight and Kelleher families. Although its been more than 25 years since last I saw Karen, I have many great memories of her growing up next door on Allengrove St. In our younger years, playing with Barbies on the front porch, making sheet tents in the back drive and sharing in many a neighborhood birthday party. Being the younger sister she kept Kelly and me hopping growing up with her quick wit. I mostly remember her smile and her generous spirit. It was very sad to hear this news. RIP Karen.
