Dear Blyth Family,
I just now heard of Kay's passing, and I am so sorry for your loss. Kay and I were friends for nearly 30 years, since she first came to Philadelphia. When she moved to Lansdale, she would come into town weekly and we would nearly always meet for lunch or dinner as time allowed. As you know, she was an active member at our Zoo, and was particularly involved with the building of the magnificent home for primates. Regretfully, due to illness and my moving last fall, we had been out of touch for many months. My family and I will remember the sound of her beautiful deep voice, as we engaged with her in hours of quiet chat and whitty reparte. She was always interesting and gracious, either as a charming house or party guest, or when hosting one of her intimate dinners, be it elegant or casual. She will be greatly missed in the Beaumont community, and certainly by my friends and family. I hope that God has given you peace and strength during this time.
