KATHLEEN (nee Gable) of Center City Philadelphia, formerly of Severna Park, Maryland, on May 10, 2008 of a prolonged illness. Beloved wife of the late George R. McGurk, Sr. Loving mother of Kathleen Cecilia Johansson, George Raymond McGurk, Jr., Michael Brennan McGurk, Sr. Genevieve Mary Harrison, and John Ed McGurk. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Kathleen is also survived by brothers, Edward, Maurice, and Joseph Gable. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. on Thursday the 15th at St. Johns the Evangelist Church, 21 South 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Friends may call for a viewing and remembrance time from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at St. Johns.
