KEVIN G. JR., suddenly on Nov. 9, 2009 age 30 yrs, of Rydal. He was a 1998 Graduate of LaSalle High School and 2002 Graduate of Boston Univ. Son of Kevin G. Sr. and Mary W. Gerngross; brother of Julie and Laura. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Mass Sat. 11 A.M., St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Dr. (at Temple Dr.), Maple Glen. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. Relatives and friends are invited to the Church Fri. 6 to 9 P.M. and Sat. 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations to LaSalle College H.S. 8605 Cheltenham Ave., Wyndmoor, PA 19038 would be appreciated.

You are never far from my thoughts and often wonder what might have been. Your voice and face are bright and clear in my mind but I miss not seeing you. It is hard to grasp that you have been gone for 15 years yet it seems like yesterday.
Your family soldiers on but your memory burns bright. It is hard to express how much we loved you.

It seems impossible that you have not been with us for 14 years. My memory of that night, walking to the OR with the staff for the organ donation, is forever implanted in my memory. They took you through that OR door and left me alone in corridor at around 3 am. I was completely alone watching my first born who had been declared brain dead taken away from me for the last time. I´ve always wondered why I was left there to experience that alone. Jefferson finally called a cab service to drive me back home. It was probably the worst experience of my life. But your life ended far too soon. I will always love and miss you and so wish I could be with again.

This may sound very strange, but was Kevin ever up north across the border in Canada for any period of time? He looks exactly like a Kevin Robinson I met who was here in Montreal on a work visa in '07 or '08. Forgive me if I'm wrong, and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

I had often searched the web trying to find Kev, to get back in touch with him. I moved to Costa Rica 8 years ago, and kept wanting to get a hold a Kev to invite him to come Surf. I was devastated today when I found out why i couldn't get a hold of KEV. Kevin was a brother and his house was my home away from home. His friendship, smile, kindness, camaraderie, laughter, and family's love and acceptance of their red headed stepchild, is something i will cherish forever. Miss you Kev! One day we will get to surf together! Till I see you again brother. Rest in Peace. All my love to the Robinson Family.

I have very fond memories of Kevin. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Jenkintown/AAA. We had a lot of good times from lowering the basketball net and trying to dunk on each other to the time we thought we were so cool when we were the DJ's at one of Kevin's birthday parties.
