Kyle Robinson Obituary

Robinson Kyle M. Passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2025. The sixth of seven children born to William and Zana Robinson on January 25, 1952, Kyle was a lifelong resident of Roxborough, married to his wife Donna (Cornforth) for almost 50 years. Kyle graduated from Roxborough High School where he was class president and captain of the swimming team (and later inducted into the Roxborough High School Sports Hall of Fame). He then attended Temple University majoring in Kinesiology and competing on their Division I swimming team. Following college, he taught physical education and coached swimming in the Philadelphia School District. Kyle then worked for over 30 years at the E.B. O'Reilly HVAC company. His home away from home was the Walnut Lane Golf Course where he golfed, walked his dogs, BZ and Obie, and volunteered for the First Tee golf program, as well as sharing the game with numerous family members. Along with Donna, Kyle is survived by his four children, Colin (Nicole), Kyle (Julia), Nora (Chris) and Asher and his siblings, Zane, Leslie, Elise, Kevin, and Keith, predeceased by his sister, Gail. Kyle's lasting impact is one of friendship and family and he cherished above all else his seven grandchildren, Evyn, Liam, Luke, Sylvie, Mathilda, Noelle, and Oliver. A Memorial luncheon will be held on May 23, 2025 beginning at 11:30 A.M. at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, 815 Thomas Road, Lafayette Hill, PA in the Bloomfield Ballroom. In lieu of flowers, Kyle and his family invite friends and loved ones to make a donation in Kyle's name to the First Tee of Greater Philadelphia (firstteephiladelphia.org).

Deepest condolences to the family of Kyle. I always enjoyed seeing and catching up with Kyle at RHSSHOF events or golf outings and also luncheons we had with Mr. Howat. A legendary athlete at RHS, steadfast supporter of RHSSHOF and of other RHS alumni activities, and a dear friend, I will miss him very much. May his memory be eternal as we say in Greek Orthodox tradition. In sympathy, Jimmy Cousounis

So sorry to hear about Kyle. He was an outstanding individual who enlivened the community of Roxborough. He and my Dad had a special bond. I was glad to have known him in the times we got together.

I am so sorry to hear of Kyle's passing. Kyle was a great person who knew his profession, worked hard, provided diligent customer service, was loyal, and had high integrity. He spoke about his family often, had a sense of humor, and truly understood life's priorities. We knew each other for over 30 years. He will be missed, and the family has my deepest condolences. God Bless, Tom Becker

I grew up always looking forward to seeing Uncle Kyle at Robinson family events. Some of my best memories with Kyle was when he would take me out golfing at Walnut Lane. I believe he's the reason for why I began to love golf so much, and will continue to play throughout my life. All my condolences to Donna, Colin, Kyle, Nora, Asher, and the rest of the Robinson family. Rest peacefully Uncle Kyle. Love, Rory

Rest in Peace Kyle. You will be missed my many. Outstanding in athletics in swimming and golf. But an even better friend. Until we meet again. One of Roxborough´s finest.
Condolences to Donna and family.
