ALBED Laurice A. Age 91, of Berwyn, PA and Cape May, NJ, formerly of Broomall, PA on January 13, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Samuel and Najla (nee Birbarah). She is survived by her loving nieces, nephew and great-nephew. Laurice was a graduate of University of Delaware and spent much of her career as an elementary teacher in the Haverford School District and on the faculty of Villanova University before joining her family at Albed Rug Company. Family and friends are invited to Laurice's Graveside Service 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA and to her Prayer Service of Remembrance on Sunday February 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 8210 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Laurice will be missed . My summer daily walks were made memorable by laurice and her knowledge of cape may. Laurice was generous and always bought tiickets or wrote a check for local fundraisers Always impeccably dressed. Rest in peace Lauricec
