68 of Philadelphia suddenly on November 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Malinowski). Loving Father of Jane Getty (Anthony), Melissa Oechle (Jim), Michael (Kathy), Lawrence (Demetria) and Laura Damian. Devoted Pop of Taylor, Alexander, Julie, Carly, Deano, Michael, Sam and Gabby. Larry was a proud member of the Athenian Breakfast Club. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday November 7, 2017 from 9 to 11 A.M. and to his service at 11 A.M. both at THE WALTER J. MEYERS FUNERAL HOME 6645 Torresdale Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19135. His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

DAD, it's been 3years and not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I miss you so much, I wish you could have stayed, but God had other plans. You are forever my angel and I miss and love you so much. I would give anything to hear your voice, your laugh, one of your corny dad jokes. I will carry you close to my heart always.

Dad, you were my rock, my strength, the one I could always turn to. You were always there to listen and give your advice. I wish God didn't call you home so soon. You were a great, kind and loving man with a heart of gold. We are going to miss you so much. Please watch over all of us, our angel in heaven. I know you are safe with Grandma and Grandpop. Probably up there fishing with Pop-pop and having a cigar. Love you forever. I will always be your baby girl. - Melissa
