Hi Inga: I love you so much. I know this is a difficult time. I loved Uncle Leonard and have always admired you both. Keep well. Annie Zapf

I have the fondest memories of Leonard. I spent many times at his home with his daughter, Linda, playing the many musical instruments in his home. Linda actually taught me how to play the guitar. Leonard was such a gentle and kind man. I pray that he is at peace, and that his wonderful memory will heal the hearts that he has left behind.

To the Zapf family,
I began working at the music store on 5th st in 1968 when I was 15. I worked part time through high school and full time in between college stints.
Some of my best memories are the times that I spent in the shop with Leonard. He understood my passion for mechanical things and he shared with me techniques of lathe work and the use of various machinery that I have used throughout my career. Today I run a very successful clock repair shop in Drexel Hill and often think of the things that Leonard taught me.
So to Leonard, a very late thank you and to the Zapf family my deepest condolences for your loss.
Alan Kaplan
p.s. If any of the folks who were at the store back then,Eric, Willie, Dienhardt,Mrs Busch are still around please tell them I said "Hi" and offer my condolences.
