I was saddened to learn of the death of cousin Louis, my Grandmother's nephew (and for whom she worked when she was too bored to stay retired) and my father Bruce's first cousin.
I was reminded of him often, as I still cherish and wear a necklace he gave me on the occassion of my Bat Mitzvah in the 1960's.
My condolences to the immediate family.

Lou was a beloved cousin & friend as well as my mentor in the jewelry industry! My recent memories of the last trip to LAS VEGAS in early June were amongst the best! He will be missed!

I was very shocked to hear of the death of Louis Neff yesterday. I have known him for almost all of my life, since he was my Uncle's boss. My uncle, Charles Gaber, worked for Mr. Neff from 1947 until 1998. Mr. Neff was always very considerate and kind to the entire Gaber family. He was an excellent child, continuing the jewelry business his father started and keeping his father's name on the site of the original store.
I hope his family takes comfort in knowing we have lost a good man. My wife, Gail, and I offer sympathy and comfort to his family.
