Marc Silver Obituary

SILVER
DR. MARC, 55, a prominent radiologist at Frankford Hospital for 24 years, passed away on Wed., March 21, 2007 from complications of lung cancer. Marc was the loving husband of Shelley Silver; beloved father of Brett and Andrew Silver; dear son of Shirley and Albert Silver, and brother of Stuart Silver. We invite you to attend a memorial tribute in Marc's honor on Sun., April 1 at 1:00 P.M. at Blue Bell Country Club (directions 215-616-8100). Instead of flowers, food or gifts, we ask that you make a contribution in memory of Marc to the American Cancer Society. Instead of sending cards, we would appreciate if you wrote down some of your special thoughts and memories of Marc and bring them with you to the Memorial Service. If you wish to share these feelings yourself, please email [email protected] so we will be aware. All papers will be collected at the end of the tribute to one day share with Marc's future generations. Shiva will follow the tribute.

On behalf of the Ultrasound department at Frankford Hospital I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to family of Dr. Silver.
He was a great asset to the ultrasound department.
His absence will create a void that will not be easily filled.
He was a pleasure to work with and learn from.

Dr. Silver had such a strong personality you couldn't help but to respect him. At the same time you could tell he had a big heart. It will never be the same at work without him. I will miss him. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had the utmost pleasure of working with Dr. Silver as a sonographer at Frankford Hospital. His sense of humor and quick-to-laugh nature are what I will miss most. He had a great laugh and I made sure I found him when I had a funny story to tell. My favorite days in ultrasound were when he was working there. He will be missed greatly.
