Margaret was a beloved member of the class of 1980 of Temple Medical School. Margaret was a kind, sweet, caring person who always had an interesting take on events. I have no doubt she was as an empathetic doctor and adored by her patients.
Deepest condolences to her family.

Dear Marion & Family,
I just found out today that Margaret had passed away. I offer my sincere sympathy and condolences to you and family. I knew Margaret back in the day when she still lived on Bainbridge Ave. in the Bronx and a nicer most sincere and generous girl you could never hope to meet. That was 50 years ago and in all that time I have never forgotten her and now that she has gone life will be somewhat less

Dear Burke Family- Really upset that my dear neighbor Margaret has left us! I live directly behind her house and have had numerous encounters as she called on me here and there for odd things or problems and also because I landscape for a living and would trim the shrubbery out front in summers- she always wanted to make sure that the large yew in front of the house was trimmed away from the neighbors house as the needles would mess up their sidewalk but wanted the front, especially the part on the second floor to be left as full and wild as nature allowed because she would say with a sparkle in her eye" then it feels like I live in a tree house!" we chatted about plants while I clipped away...
Another funny encounter was when her sister and a friend needed a place to crash due to hurricane Sandy and hung out here for a couple of days.In a panic she rushed my back door and pleaded with me to come retrieve her cat- which was lodged under the radiator-"Tom, she warned with furrowed brow,I fear she is dead!" trying to conceal her tears. I walked in and approached the radiator and like a streak of lightning the cat bolted from under it and tore upstairs. OMG-she exulted- your a miracle worker!" we all laughed with relief.
Such a lovely character and wonderful neighbor- very sorry I heard about this only this afternoon as I would have loved to meet the rest of you- If she and her sister are any indication-you would probably be a fun bunch to be around. sincerest condolences!

Dear Marian, Bob and I are sending you and your family our deepest condolences in this unexpected and tragic loss of your loving sister, Margaret.
Although our encounter was brief, Margaret and I shared a unique journey of self discovery in an unforgettable weekend many years ago. I am grateful for that once in a lifetime opportunity and for knowing her and being with her during that time.
You and your family are in our prayers....
With Love,
Sandy & Bob

Dr. Burke was a kind hearted and gentle person and after years of working with her, I will miss her. We often shared opinions on cases, but she more enjoyed asking or being asked trivia questions- she was a big fan of the game show Jeopardy. She talked about plants, geography and the local theatre shows she attended. My condolences to her family.

I have worked with Dr. Burke since she started with SSA. We shared a favorite color, pink. She was always sincere, kind and generous with compliments. She was conscientious about doing things right and was willing to give of her time to do so. She made us laugh and we will miss her.
