My thoughts are with Margaret's family at this time. I was astounded to hear of her age because she always had such vigor and curiosity and energy. I am grateful that she did not have long suffering. We had many wonderful times when Margaret would host the film and dinner evenings in her lovely home. And I really admired her work with the ESL students. I will miss her.

Margaret
was a member at my church, she a long time member who welcomed me about
4.5 years ago. We were both in an "extended family" (group of church
members who got together several times a year). I will miss
conversations with her on many topics, but often about her childrem and
grandchildren, none of whom lived near her. Her diagnosis and death
came suddenly which has been hard. My condolences to her family; I hope
they give support and strength to each other and that in time the fond
memories and everlasting love they felt from her will grow stronger than the grief at
the loss.

I extend my deepest condolences to Margaret's children and grandchildren. I met Margaret in 1967, when I was a young history teacher at Cherry Hill West. She befriended me and we remained friends until the end of her life. Margaret's strength, honesty, warmth, purposefulness, candor, integrity, wit, intelligence, perceptions about life and people, commitment to her family and friends, her love of teaching and intellectual pursuits, and her generosity of spirit were an inspiration to me. I loved our conversations about politics, literature, music, films and people during our many lunches through the years with Lorie Truitt and Lois Boyce. Margaret was a part of my life through my young and adult years and I shall miss her dearly. She will always remain in my heart, as knowing her enriched my life. I shall forever cherish the memory of her.
