MARGARET M. 89, of Ephrata, PA, formerly of Bernville, PA, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Fairmount Homes. Her husband, the late Edgar D. Stump, passed away in 2006.
Born in Betzdorf, Germany, Margaret was a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Frieda (Elfers) Schuetz. She was a member of St. Johns UCC in Denver, PA and was employed at the former W. W. Moyer Co., in Ephrata.
Margaret enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
Surviving are two sons, Robert D. Stump, husband of Judith A. Stump of Reinholds, PA, and Edward E. Stump of Swedesboro, NJ; six grandchildren: Sara, wife of Jason Holbrook, Rebecca, wife of Chad Morris, Wendy, wife of Paul Decker, Reuben Stump, Ryan Stump, husband of Nichole, and Robin Stump, companion of Norville Corbin; and six great grandchildren: Alexander Holbrook, Madelyn Holbrook, Weston Morris, Lucy Morris, Cole Stump, and Cristian Corbin.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers, Helmuth, Albert, and William Schuetz.
Friends will be received at PAUL L. GRAVENOR HOME FOR FUNERALS, 100 W. Main St., Ephrata, PA from 10-11 A.M. on Thursday, March 8. Funeral services will follow at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Paul Gehman officiating. Place of interment will be Memory Gardens, E. Cocalico Twp., PA.
Donations in Margaret's memory may be directed to Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata, PA 17522.
