MARIA CARACCIOLO Obituary
MARIA 'MARY', age 97 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully, Friday March 11, 2016. Born in Blue Anchor, NJ, she lived in Philadelphia most of her life. Mary owned and operated Maria's Beauty Shop in Philadelphia for over 50 years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia and devoted to the Blessed Mother. Predeceased by her parents Emilio and Lena Caracciolo; her brother Louis Caracciolo, sisters and their husbands, Louise and Anthony Pizzi, Margaret and Charles Maimone; sister-in-law Phyllis Caracciolo, and brother in-law Joseph Liberta. Surviving are her brother William Caracciolo of Blue Anchor, NJ; sister Josephine Liberta of Blue Anchor, NJ and sister-in-law Marie Caracciolo of Elm, NJ. Also many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her Viewing Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 10AM.- 11AM. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church 3rd and French St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery S. First Road Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made to St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church 9th and Christian Phila, PA. Arrangements entrusted to the MARINELLA FUNERAL HOME 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. www.marinellafuneralhome.com

My condolences to the family of Maria. She was a special lady. I brought Maria Holy Communion for the past 12 years every month and she knew exactly when I was scheduled to come and she also knew when I was late. She amazed me of how she remembered to ask for my family by their names. I will miss going to her each month and praying with her. It was an honor to have the opportunity to bring Jesus to her. God Bless Maria, Rest in Peace. Peg Campanaro.
