Bodner Marlene (nee Williams) On August 11, 2024, peacefully, in the loving care of her husband of 54 years Bruce, at her home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, two days after her 87th birthday. Graduate of Temple University (2005). Retired technician and union representative at Bell Telephone Co. (Verizon). A Global Volunteer who worked to enrich the lives of others along with her own. Devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Williams of Syracuse, N.Y., dear sister of the late Donald (Donny) and Robert (Butchie) Williams (to close family and childhood friends, "Mickey"). Loving mother of 3 daughters the late Brenda, the late Beth and Gwen and son-in-law Timothy Quinn. A cherished "Mimi" to her 10 grandchildren Lauren, Sean, Jessica, Alison, Joseph, Jaime, Andrew, Matthew, Rachel and Kevin, her 19 great-grandchildren Joseph, Hailey, Elena, Madison, Victor, Mackenzie, Nathaniel, Madison, Mason, Jacob, Jax, Cali, Maddox, Elysia, Sean, Meadow, Liliana, Josiah and Forrest. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Marlene's love for family, passion for justice, and fortitude in the face of adversity, will be observed at the home of her daughter on Sat., Sept. 7th at 2 P.M.
