My deepest sympathies to the Herman family. I knew the Herman family through church. He would call me St Mary because that was my high school. Mr. Herman was among the most kind, caring, loving men I ever knew and treated me and other friends of his kids like extended family. We were always warmly welcomed in the Herman home. My heart and prayers are with you all. May he rest in peace and may he enjoy a beautiful reunion with Patrick.

We didn´t see Gene often,but when we did it was always a pleasure to be in his company. We respected and loved him very much. He will always be remembered by us as an intelligent, well spoken , Kind, competent, and a truly good person! Gene, we will miss you!!!

Gene was one of the best guys I have had the pleasure to know - Incredibly nice, kind and absolutely genuine. I thoroughly enjoyed every conversation with him at family gatherings, and whenever our paths crossed. He will be sincerely missed by all. Rest in peace good man.
