LIMA MARY LOUISE (nee LOFARO) Passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2024. She was loved; surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by John A. Lima, her loving husband of 73 years. Mary was a cherished mother to John (Kathy), Bob (Patricia) and Linda (Bob) Powers. Grandmother to Kate, Jennifer, Rebecca, Robert and Kristine. Great Grandmother to Grace, Cash, Elise, Sonny, Rosie and Jack. Born in Philadelphia on February 24, 1924 to Paolina and Mario Lofaro. Mary was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Mary loved and cherished her surviving sister, Theresa Bonacorsi. She enjoyed spending time with her family; cooking big Italian dinners and baking her special cookies for all to enjoy. Mary was truly a remarkable woman who gave more than she took and left this world a much better place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, October 10th, St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046. Visitation 9:00 - 10:00 A.M., Mass 10:30 A.M. Burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
