Matthew Neil Waxman

Waxman Matthew Neil December 25, 1963 - July 27, 2023 We are sad to announce the passing of Matthew Neil Waxman who died peacefully on July 27, 2023 after a very short illness. Matt was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He loved reading, writing and pontificating on the issues of the day. He always had a well thought out perspective (and opinion!) that he was willing to share. Recently, Matt embarked on a journey to travel the open road, see the sights of the country and meet interesting people along the way. Matt was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Waxman. Matt is survived by his mother, Paula Waxman, his son Sam Waxman and Sam's partner Allison Johnson, his sister and brother-in-law Marcy and Jim Katzman and his brother and sister-in-law Eric and Jennifer Waxman. Matt is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Emma and Madeline Waxman and Ian and Noah Katzman. A private Celebration of Life will be held for Matt at a later date.
