Mel was my boss and friend for over 22 years, the years we worked together were funny, sometimes sad and we went through many trials in our lives together...he was always dressed and presented himself with profession in whatever he was taking on. Most of all, he loved his wife Lenore, his children, Gwen and Alan, and even more so, he adored his grandchildren..his family was his heart. Mike and I have only loving memories of Mel, and I pray that Lenore and his family find some peace in knowing that Mel was an exceptional man. I missed not working with Mel when he retired and always tried to keep in touch with him, I didn't want him to forget us and I definetely wasn't going to forget him. Rest In Peace Our Friend....Gina & Mike Simon

Mel was a genuine nice guy! I grew up around the corner from Mel and he was a friend of the family. In later years whenever our paths crossed he always would ask about my mom and other family members. My sincere condolences to his entire family!

Mel was a very accomplished Realtor and ran a successful business for many years. He was a most personable, likeable and funny guy. He was a great boss and mentor and I learned a lot working with him. Above all things, Mel was a dedicated husband and father and he took that role very seriously. He adored his family and it was always apparent. My wish for Mel's family is that they hold close the many wonderful and joyful moments he was able to share with them throughout the years and take comfort knowing that he is much deserving of this final and peaceful rest. I will always think of Mel with the fondest remembrance.
