Relatives and friends are invited to share in Michael's Life Celebration on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 5:00 -8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 9:30 - 11:30 A.M. at JOHN F. GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD. 10975 Academy Rd., Phila, PA 19154 and to participate in his Funeral Mass 12:30 P.M. at The Church of St. Jerome, 8100 Colfax St., Phila, PA 19136. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike's memory to Hero Scholarship Fund c/o Local 22 415 N. 5th St., Phila, PA 19123.

I went to mercy tech with Mike and he and I and my friend and his friend went to my soph hop together we hung out together I dated his friend jay for a while and Mike made me watch the Simpson I may still have a picture from my soph hop I can email it to his wife if you would like

I'm sorry to hear about mike I went to high school with him and we went to my soph hop I went with his friend and he went with mine in 1990 he was always a nice guy so sorry to hear he passed I'm glad he had a great family

I'm so sorry I couldn't attend tonight to pay my respects to Mike.My heart goes out to Mike and his family.We had a close group of friends in our late teens and twenties..Myself,Mike,Matt,Steve,Gary,Brian,Greg.We had some great time together. I was sadden and shocked to hear that Mike had passed away. Knowing Mike since he was four years old I saw him grow from a boy, to a young man ( who served in the Navy ) to a loving husband and father. He always had a hello for everyone he knew and was very respectful & courteous. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Bernstein family. The long time neighbors on Barnett St. all feel like we lost a family member. Until we meet again, Tom Murphy ( Mr. Murph ).

I'd like to give my full condolences to his wife Cathy and their 3 kids as well as my Aunt Dale and Uncle Jerry and all his brothers and their families, I loved my cousin he was one of my best friends, growing up with him and him being a year younger then me makes this even harder for me I wish i could be there with my family he will firever be missed and always in my heart may god bless him and he rest in peace, love you Mike.
