D'ANNUNZIO

MICHAEL GABRIEL D'ANNUNZIO JR., of Brigantine N.J., went to be with our Lord at age 37 on Tuesday evening Oct. 11, 2005. Michael was the beloved son of Gail Phyllis Paglia of Miami Beach FL and Michael Gabriel D'Annunzio Sr. and his wife and Michael Jr.'s loving stepmother Micki D'Annunzio of Brigantine, as well as the treasured brother of Nicholas Joseph D'Annunzio of Miami Beach FL (formerly of Brigantine). Michael is survived by his dear aunts and uncles: Christine and Richard Amato of Las Vegas NV, Phyllis and Joe Sacchetti of Brigantine N.J., Rosemary Paglia of Las Vegas NV, Mary and Art Hughes of Cape May N.J., Nick and Marianne Paglia of Las Vegas NV, and Maryann and Michael Ferretti of Voorhees N.J. Michael will join his departed relatives in the afterlife, including his grandparents Virginia and Nicholas Paglia, Emily and Joseph D'Annunzio and James L. Ruggiano, as well as his surviving grandmother Mary Ruggiano of Gibbsboro N.J. and her son James P. Ruggiano of Gibbsboro. An outgoing and kind-hearted young man who loved being with his family and friends, Michael could often be found surfing, boating and sport fishing with his father on the family boat, "Bricks n Sticks." Michael worked in the building business, often alongside his father, for whom he was named. Michael was born in Parma OH, and lived there, as well as in Galveston TX and Philadelphia PA before moving with his family to Brigantine in 1979. He was graduated from Atlantic City High School, and resided in Brigantine. He also lived and worked in Las Vegas for several years in the 1990s where his mother was then residing, as well as in Ft. I met Michael back in the early 80's while working on the boat docks at Harrah's Marina Hotel Casino. Michael had such a beautiful smile that expressed his love for life. He was friendly to everyone & I adored him. I had been meaning to stop by for my once in a blue moon reunion with him. I am truely distraut that I will never see him again. Now he is a beautiful Angel. I only hope I can feel his presence around me one more time. I love you Michael!
