DESALIS


MICHAEL J., 92, of Cape May, NJ. Son of the late Michael and Anna DeSalis, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Michael was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps. Veteran in the China, Burma, India Theatre. He retired as a U.S. Postal Service Executive. In retirement, he lived many years in Florida where he enjoyed excellence in golf and proudly published his first book at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his first wife Mary (Campo) and daughter Lisa DeSalis-Wituschek. Michael is survived by his beloved and devoted wife Catherine (Naimoli); loving children Denise Daly (Daniel), Michele Sorento and Michael F. X. DeSalis; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother Anthony DeSalis (Sylvia). Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday, October 28, 2016 at 9 A.M. at St. Richard's Church, 3010 S. 18th St., Phila. PA 19145, followed by a Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
