MICHAEL JOHN JR., July 17, 2008. Beloved son of Joann Sadowski Thomas and Michael J. Holtz Sr. Step-son of Robert Thomas and Beverly Holtz. Also survived by his 3 children, Taylor, Colby and Chase Holtz; his sister, Danielle Holtz; grandmothers, Carmella Bucci and Geraldine Holtz. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at THE RACHUBINSKI FUNERAL HOMES OF QUEEN VILLAGE, 779-781 S. Front St. , Phila. PA after 10:30 A.M., followed by Religious Services at 11:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to benefit Taylor, Colby and Chase Holtz, c/o Citizens Bank, 2702 Kirkbride St Phila 19137.

I've thought about you more than usual these last several days. I had a dream about you the other night. I could hear your voice and see your smile. I woke up confused. For a moment I guess I thought it was real. You are in my thoughts-but you probably know that already. You are in my heart-and you probably know that too. We miss you Michael. Always.

It has been six months since you left me , but the pain ia stilll like it was yesterday...I can't tell you how many times I reach for the phone to call you and realize your not there. I live with this pain everyday but I'm trying to move on...it's just taking some time! I Love you, my beloved son and each day without you is hell on earth! Mike, Beverly & Danielle,
I was having lunch with my sister and brother, Courtney and Jonathan, and heard the news of Michael's passing. I just want to send my condolences to the three of you along with Mike's children, family and friends. I have sooo many great memories from living on Brooker Trace Lane. I'll never forget the trips, camping in our back yards, the bb gun incident and the Christmas pictures on the pontoon boat. I send this with great sadness and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I thought I would let you know everyone here is sad we lost you. I was glad to see you and your son the last time you were here, and got to treat you both to my brownies. I know you enjoyed them. Your Mom and Dad are hanging in there,but I know it will take a long time, they both loved you always! They have a lot of friends around here that think the woeld of them, me included. I am not over doing my visits, as I know they need time to think of all the years they had with you and the last couple with your beautiful children! Hope you are at peace Hon!

To Joanne and Mike Sr--You don't know me, but I knew Mike through my daughter, Jillian, in Raleigh/Cary, NC. He kept her safe during Hurricane Floyd, when I was so frightened for her safety. He really did keep her safe.
He was a very good friend to her in many ways, and although we just realized today that Mike has died, just two or three days ago, Jillian was showing me pictures of Mike and the other friends who were with them during that dangerous hurricane. Just two days ago--we were thinking of him and talking about him, hoping that he was happy.
During the time she and Mike were friends and he lived here, sometimes he would call but she was not home, and I had the pleasure of talking with your lovely and very affectionate son. He had a special heart that was so obvious to me.
I am deeply, deeply sorry for your loss. There aren't words that can properly express how I feel, so I know that your feelings of loss are exponentially greater than my own. Please accept my deepest most sincere sympathy, and know that your son sent light into my daughter's life that can never be extinguished. And because of that, I know that there must be many others who were blessed enough to have been on the receiving end of Mike's loving and affectionate personality.
And Mike? If you are "looking in" on this guest book, please know that I cherished our conversations--you were so sweet to Jillian and to me. I wish you had made it over that day for some freshly baked Christmas cookies. You are still loved, Mike, and that will never change.

Dear Joanne and Bob, we're so very sorry for the loss of Michael. We are so glad we got to meet him on his trips to Philly. We feel like we knew him very well from all the stories from you Joanne, (we know he was your world). He was a handsome boy and very friendly! We know, you both as well as his father, step-mom and sister will be dealing with a lot of pain, but hopefully the great memories you all hold in your hearts will help you get through this tough time. Mike was a great dad, a wonderful man to be with, loving, energetic, outgoing, etc.... I could go on about how he was but I would be here forever. He will be missed tremendously. I am in deepest sympathy for his lose, and I send mine and the children's love to the entire family. We love you all.
