Mike was my brother Frank’s roommate at La Salle University where they met and became life long friends. Mike was always welcoming and interesting and he quickly became a friend to our family.
I visited Mike in Boston when he lived there and he enjoyed showing us his new city, we spent a New Years Eve at a music venue in Cambridge. Mike loved seeing live music . When Mike moved to San Francisco I again traveled to visit him when he lived in North Beach by Coit Tower . From the local restaurants and bars to the Napa vineyards Mike was spot on in showing the best of his new adopted area. . I always admired Mike for his ability to try the next thing either schooling or moving to a new city .
My brother Frank was the initial connection to Mike but we also became good friends quickly .
Mike came and stayed at my house in Cape May 30 years ago when Paul was a baby . I was glad I could show him my little town then . I’ll miss the occasional phone call to Mike . I called Mike November 20 and caught up with up him and as always had a good conversation. I was so saddened and shocked when Donna called me the day after Christmas that Mike passed December 20 . I will miss Mike .
Donna I am so sorry for your loss .

Michael was a good man. We met as opposing counsel in a bankruptcy case and became friends and colleagues. His loss has been difficult for me on many levels. I will miss him.

Mike helped me with an awful issue regarding a divorce with bankruptcy thrown in
1996 He had just moved back and was unpacking
Starting his practice in Philadelphia
Mike proved a good attorney and I don’t think he ever charged for my representation
I am saddened to hear he is no longer with us
I am sure I am not the only one he helped selflessly
My heart is heavy and I pray Mike is in a better place

To Mike’s wife Donna, his son Paul, to Carol, Barbara, and especially Joyce (who I knew best) - we were all shocked & so saddened when we heard about Mike - he was far too young to die this soon. I remember him most as my brother Jim’s best friend starting from their freshman year at CCHS, a friendship that lasted throughout the rest of their lives. It was Mike who persuaded my brother to move to California - and although Mike eventually returned back to Philly - my brother never left! All our treks out to SF to visit over those early years inevitably included partying with Mike too, and never failed to be anything but a hilarious good time. My heart goes out to each of you, in the loss of your husband, father, brother, and our close family friend.

Dear family and friends. I am sorry to hear about the passing of Michael. He was well known in the bankruptcy bar and we had worked on various cases together over the years. I enjoyed our interaction and would like to extend my condolences to you all.
