While a law student at American University in the mid 1980's, I met Michael. He took me under his wings and became a mentor to me. I will forever remember the lessons he taught me and the examples he set.

The last time I saw Michael was in 2003. Although, Michael may no longer be with us, I know that he is in Heaven with our Father for: "Blessed are the peacemakers, they will be called children of God." My prayers are with the Maggio family.

Michael M. Maggio

February 12, 2008

"And when he shall die
Take him and place him among the stars and
He shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world Will fall in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun
For his life was gentle
And all the elements so mixed in him
That nature might stand up and say to all the world.
This was a man”

Peace to you "Cuz"

We are very saddened at the passing of Mr. Maggio. Our daughter worked with him in DC as an intern and then as an Associate Attorney. I had the privilege of meeting him once and he was gracious and kind. He touched our family through our daughter.
