I was saddened the learn about Mike's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Judy and the family. I was an editor for Mike and Judy in the 1990s. The company they created was a wonderful place to work. Mike and Judy were the most kind and generous employers and people. There truly was a family-like atmosphere around the office. We did a lot of good work and we had a lot of great office parties and celebrations. I was fortunate to be a part of it all. I have a lot of good memories. Thank you. Rest in peace, Mike.

When they say "they don't make them like that anymore," they are talking about Mike Mealey. I have never seen a company owner care more about the people he employed - as noted in the tributes, he got the biggest kick out of handing paychecks out to each & every employee. He loved success & celebrations. It wasn't going to work each day - - it was going to a place where your second family resided and worked as a team. And what a teacher - I learned so much about all aspects of journalism, newsletter publishing, the law, giving back to young journalists, and, of course, enjoying life. My condolences to Judy and Mike's family. I was so sad to hear about Mike's passing. His life touched many and we are so grateful.

Rest in peace Mike. To Judy and the family, my deepest condolences to you. As a former employee, I appreciate all that you and Mike did to create, support, and foster the success of your employees and customers. Mike´s kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. I will always cherish the memories and nostalgia of my time at Mealey Publications - always highlighted by my frequent pleas for Mike to hand-sign marketing letters, or a surprise exchange of greetings throughout the narrow hallways of the Wayne office. And I will never forget the hand-delivered paychecks, taking time to celebrate success, allowing a little leeway for humor with office shenanigans, and providing a sense of belonging to something greater ... Business and life lessons that I hope I can pay forward to others. I hope that Judy and the family know how many lives were touched and inspired by Mike´s journalist integrity, natural business leadership, and a good sense of humor. May God´s grace be upon you all during this difficult time.

We will always cherish our friendship with Mike. He had a true zest for life, and could tell the "Easter" joke again and again and have us all rolling in the aisles. We will treasure so many happy and fond memories. Judy, we offer to you our most heartfelt condolences and our prayers.
