MICHAEL THOMPSON Obituary
MICHAEL S., on March 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Trisha (nee Sexton), loving dad to Arron, Faye and Lilly Devoted son of Lillian Gronczewski. He is also survived by his dear sister Suzanne Haney, his father and mother-in-law Frank and Patty Sexton as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend His Viewing Tues. eve. 6 until 9 P.M. THE REILLY RAKOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 2632 E. Allegheny Ave., Phila. PA 19134
On Wednesday everyone is invited to meet at 9:45 A.M. Nativity BVM Church, Belgrade St. and E. Allegheny Ave 19134 Funeral Mass will begin at 10 A.M. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cem. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to his Children's Educational Fund care of the Funeral Home.

Hey MikeyT I was hoping to get one more March madness with ya. This was our time of year. When we worked at MAB back in the day we would fight to get off the first Thursday and Friday of the tournament. When you were first diagnosed 2 years ago I knew I hadda do something special. So I planned a trip down Tobacco Road, chapel hill, North Carolina. You were always a tarheel fan and I was a Dukie!!! So off we went and we couldn't get tickets Bc the Duke/NC Rivalry is second to none. But I was getting you in that game no matter what I had to do. So I scoped out the scene and seen a delivery guy with a slow closing door behind him and as soon as he turned his head I ran and got my fingers between the door and the jamb. Called u and the other guys and we were in for free. Of course North Carolina won, but I wouldn't had it any other way. I love you MikeyT. Just this one year I'll be rooting for North Carolina to bring home the national championship for my man MikeyT.

Michael's journey and suffering has ended. For his family it has just begun. You will be remembered everyday by the people that loved you the most. Their journey without you will feel like a suffering too. But you will be there with your angel wings guiding them. I am so sorry for all this family. Rest comfortably Michael.
