Nancy Turrentine Obituary

Turrentine Nancy Ann (nee Grubb) Jan. 14, 1945 - Feb, 22, 2025 Nancy, 80, passed away Feb. 22, 2025 at Tel-Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook. The daughter of Joseph and Peg Grubb, Nancy grew up in Media, where she attended Penncrest HS. She earned her BA in English from Elizabethtown College, and an MA in Library Science from the Univ. of Colorado. She was married twice, and lived in several locations across the country, the last being Renton, WA for a number of years before relocating back to PA in 2019. She was a professional librarian, and worked in multiple medical libraries over the years. Nancy had no children of her own, but became close to the three children of her brother and his wife, Joe and Sandie Grubb of Lyndell, PA. Nancy was a major cat lover and avid book reader. A keeper of beautiful vegetable and flower gardens, her expertise earned her the Master Gardener designation. The family will conduct a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
