It's almost a year since you have gone and my heart is truly broken.
I miss your smile and silly laugh and the words we left unspoken.
So many things we missed out on doing; they weren't meant to be.
I know you're happy where you are, it's just so hard for me.
I hear your voice inside my head and feel you all around.
Not a day goes by I don't talk to you and still there is no sound.
I know you're watching over us, to help us through each day.
To teach and guide your little man, so he doesn't lose his way.
I know you'd be so proud of him; the job you started here.
To help him through his toughest days; the struggles and the fear.
The gifts you gave were gifts of love and now you watch us from above.
Our special angel missed so much, the laughter and the love.

I have a beautiful story to share today that made me believe Natalie sent this little girl to me. A 7 year old today I met at a Walk for awareness event came up to me and instantly became my friend. She had beautiful long hair and kept telling me about how she likes looking up the weather to count all the sunny days. Then she pointed up and said there are no storms up there and I said up where heaven, she said yes it's a wonderful place. She wants to stay my best friend and face time with me and gave me a huge hug and a kiss after I braided her long hair. Everyone kept asking me if she was my sister, it was so cute. Natalie was a sister to me and I think she or God sent me this little girl today to make me smile like Natalie did for me when I was young. It makes me happy to believe she is watching over all of us. I hope this story will touch your heart as much as it did for me today. <3

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words and support. This is a very challenging and difficult time in our lives. It still to this day just doesn't seem real to me. We grew up together and experienced a life as an uncle and niece and brother/sister. I remember natalie coming home and being so excited to hold her and learn everything about her. She grew into a great loving mother and person. It is very hard for me to put my feelings to words. Again I would just like to thank everyone for the love and support. That is what we need to get through this devastating time. As I explained to my girls, natalie is in heaven watching over us keeping us safe. There is another part of my heart missing. Loving you always, uncle joey.

Nat so hard to believe that you are gone. Seems like just yesterday we were hanging around Souder street or walking up to Max Myers with Jen's kids, we used to have so much fun just running around the neighborhood. my dearest nat... as I sit here on this Monday night, it has finally hit me that I will never see you again, looking back on these pictures from philly, and how bright and happy we were... and how close we were .. makes me mad that I didn't try to keep that closeness as we got older, I could of called more, I could of texted.. but life grew us apart.
