My deepest sympathy to all Neil's family on his passing. I only learned of his death today July 22nd through our friend Tish Dugan. I first met Neil when we visited Philly in '84. When he visited Ireland I got to spend a day with him and a young Jeremy showing him the cliffs on the West coast of Ireland. He was a lovely man and is well remembered in Ballina with fondness. God bless his soul. An Irish saying is " May he be in Heaven an hour before the devil knows he dead ".

My condolences to Ellen and the rest of Neil's family. Although I only knew him casually, I remember Neil as a happy, friendly guy. I first met him thru my good friend Art Morgenstern [of blessed memory] on the beach in Ventnor the summer that he and Ellen met - I think she was with her cousin Shelly. We spent a little timed together that summer, then re-connected on 15th St. in Philadelphia one afternoon and talked about our very different law practices. We had lunch occasionally - always a pleasant experience. Neil was a man who I will always remember for his affable way of talking and his kind manner.

I met Neil in 1982. He was a funny guy ( with scarcasm) and just a really nice guy. Rest in peace Neil.

My brother was a source of good common sense. His childhood was rich in the values that really count, loving & caring parents & strong personal friendships from which he cultivated his charming character & charisma. He will be missed by all.
