PAUL MacALLISTER, of Plymouth Mtg., 84 on Thurs. Jan. 8, 2009. Son of John B. Jr. and Anne (nee McCloskey). Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Brass); loving father of Marin Henkels, Paul Jr., Christopher, Andrew, Roderick, Amy Healey, Timothy, Angela Dale, Carol Lilley and Barbara Gorman; grandfather of 28. Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Viewing on Tues. Jan. 13 from 4:30-8:30 PM at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church on Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. His Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wed. at 10 A.M. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, in Phila. Family Services are by GIVNISH FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES/ BOYD-HORROX of East Norriton. 1-800-GIVNISH. I just learned today of Paul's ascent into heaven, or I would have attended the celebration of his extraordinary life, family, and apostolic endeavors and achievements. He will still be in my prayers every day at Holy Mass, but now as a powerful allie as part of The Mystical Body of Jesus Christ in Heaven. To me he was always been referred to as "Barbara and Paul", the ideal example of two who truly became one flesh and one spirit in Christ. While I'm sure he doesn't need it, I will make a plenary indulgence for Paul at Holy Mass tomorrow.
