You were our entertainer, advisor, fixer upper, catcher of any kid doing something they shouldn't be, musician, all-knowing of when a good meal was ready, adopted Grand Pop. Oh, I could go on and on about our one of a kind Renaissance Man, our own Legend of Northwood! One thing I know for sure is, no matter how many times I heard the beautiful love song you composed being played on the piano next door by many different family members; when it brought tears to my eyes, I knew it was you – playing for your beloved Marie! You will be missed!

I remember I was very young, 6-7 and my mother was cutting up these baskets of tomatoes for canning. She was working hard and Uncle Pete came over to see us on the farm. Pop was working at the Post Office. Mom wanted to make him something and he said no let's finish this first. He finish all those tomatoes in no time! Mom made us all a big dinner. Thanks Uncle Pete. I am praying for you and all our family.

Uncle Pete: I envy you. To be reunited with the DiDonatos: your unforgettable mother, Uncle Tommy and Aunt Laura, my grandparents, your dear brothers Paul and Dan, Aunt Teresa and Uncle Mario, your son Paul and grandson Will and Aunt Marie: what a party. Irish eyes are, indeed, smiling on you. And God's fleet could not ask for a better mechanic. As great-Grandmom said when Uncle Paul died 78 years ago: drive straight to Heaven. And I say, may the dance floor be wide and long and may the mandolin sing.

Dearest Diane, Lorraine, Bernie, Perry, My thoughts are remembering stories of Daddy and Uncle Pete, especially the encounter with State Troopers and car almost swept into ocean. Mostly, I remember the family parties with Aunt Marie singing with Uncle Mario. All our family is sad and grieving over the loss of all the brothers and sisters, Daddy, Uncle Dan, Aunt Mary, Uncle Paul, Grandmom and Grandpop, Aunt Teresa, Uncle Mario. They were wonderful days on the farm, unmatched and missed. I love you all. Loretta and Family, David and Anthony
