My condolences to all of Peter's loved ones. I booked many authors on Peter's show over a period of 20 years. I loved working with him. I especially loved it when he'd want an author that was unwilling to get up early on a Sunday for an interview: "We'll see him on the remainder pile!" I just found out about his passing. Rest in peace, Peter.

Peter had such a generous and caring heart. He did so many kind things for so many people and, in my experience, for many people with intellectual disabilities. Rest In Peace my Friend

I just learned of Peter's passing today. I servedw ith Peter on the Advisory Committee of the UUHouse Outreach Program. Peter was a staunch advocate for older adults and brought his passion and no nonsense approach to this commitment. He was a Renaissance Man who educated his Sunday morning listening audience on a wide range of topics. Peter affected the lives of many persons and leaves a legacy of social justice and advocacy. May he rest in peace. To his family, may you have many memories that sustain you during this time, and have comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of many.

This is truly saddening. Sincere condolences to Peter's family and loved ones.
After not hearing Peter's voice for the past several Sundays on WIP I thought I should finally look for something on the internet. He will be missed by many, many listeners, who like me have gained so much useful information and insight into today's world.
Rest in peace, Peter.

To Peter’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I discovered Peter’s radio show on WIP a few years ago and greatly enjoyed waking up to his interviews each week. He had a gentle and patient style and gave his guests the time to explain their ideas. I will miss him. RIP

Peter was a consummate professional with his book reviews. Being the chief engineer for WIP Radio. I heard a lot of Peter's Sunday shows and reviews. Always interesting and informative and smart. But that was Peter. He will be missed by us at WIP.

RIP

I am just devasted to hear about Peter. He taught me so much over the years through his outstanding program. I felt an uneasy void this morning when I did not hear his voice. It is a sad moment and I wish his family many blessings!

Just don't know what I will listen to on Sunday morning any more. I listened to everyone of his shows even when he was on the road and it was a repeat. He will get to see Wolfman Jack because he passed away right after being on Peters show.

Simply the best interviewer ever. He could get his guests to pause and think before replying, resulting in unusually in-depth conversation that revealed a lot more about the guests than you would learn anywhere else. And often seemed to reveal the guests to themselves.

Listened to Peter for years on Sunday Mornings. Such a soothing presence and always interesting and informative guests and opinions. I will miss him... my prayers to the Solomon Family and sincere condolences for your loss.
