Ms. Tonya Lashan Solomon

The Memorial Service for Ms. Tonya Solomon of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 8620 GA Hwy 26E, Montezuma, Georgia.

Tonya Lashan Solomon, daughter of Ms. Jacqueline Elizabeth Bateman and Mr. John Lee Kleckley, was born June 2, 1972, in Montezuma, Georgia. She was educated in the Macon County public school system and was the valedictorian of the class of 1990. She was employed at Macon State Prison (retired) and Walmart. Tonya departed this earthly life on March 15, 2026 at Phoebe Sumter Hospital in Americus, Georgia.

She leaves precious memories with Kenny Solomon of Montezuma, Georgia; her children: Kenneth Solomon, Atrelle Solomon, and Kentorria Solomon; her grandchildren: Karmelo Solomon, Jada Solomon, Atrelle Solomon Jr., Mariah Solomon, Alisha Thomas, Kaiden Thomas, Demetri Solomon, Kingston Nelson, and Kyle Nelson; her brother, James Akine (Kiesha) of Macon, Georgia; aunts and uncles: Retha Jones (Alton) and Mary Idrahim (Anyars) of Atlanta, Georgia, Gloria White of Montezuma, Georgia, Leisa Williams (Joseph), Thelma Harris of Perry, Georgia, and Fredlee Harris of Fort Valley, Georgia; a host of cousins to include Felicia Turner, Pomie Kaigler, Teresa Sneed, Sandra Gilbert, Maureen Harris, Ethel Jones, Alfred Harris, Bryant Keith Harris, and Timothy Patrick; other relatives and friends.
