Mrs. Mary Frances Butts

Mrs. Mary Frances Butts of Montezuma, Georgia departed this life on January 12, 2026, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia. The Graveside Service for Mrs. Butts will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Champ Waters Cemetery, 191 Twin Churches Road, Montezuma, Georgia.

Mrs. Mary Frances Butts, daughter of the late Mrs. Alice Mae Davis (Arthur) was born May 27, 1947. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Charlie C. Butts who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Adkins.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her daughter, Nola M. Butts Blackmon (Kendric) of Macon, Georgia; her grandchildren: Shiheem N. Rutherford, Nakiyah A. Kinder, and Kyra D. Blackmon; her great-grandchildren: Kai'Lani A. Rutherford and Kimoni N. Brumfield; a host of bonus grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers: Joann Davis Woolfork, Willie Joe Davis, Brenda Adkins, and Debra Ford of Montezuma, Georgia, Billy T. Marshall (Evelyn) of Florida, John Taylor (Suki) of Texas, and Elizabeth Greaves of Orlando, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
