I still think about Rachel a lot. I remember the when she was the lead in Fiddler. I think of her God given talent. I remember her voice lessons starting in the 7th or 8th grade. I’m not sure, but I felt lucky to be able to share with her as much as I learned as possible. She was a force. It makes it hard to believe she is gone. I think she is in our hearts forever. I wish I could have been there for her funeral. I still miss her. Thank you for sending me this and know that I will never forget her. With love. Janet Boyer

I still can't believe it. Rachel was a force with so much talent and so many gifts. I was honored to be her voice teacher. She also had a great personality and was a very kind girl. My heart goes out to you all, her family and very close friends. I hope to see her when I'm gone.
May God comfort you every day.
Lovingly,
Janet Boyer

Dear Family of Rachel Myers,
I am deeply sorry for your (our) loss of dear Rachel. I only taught her for two or three years, but she was an incredible talent and a wonderful and beautiful girl who looks like she got more beautiful as time went on. I remember when she and Dan Burke were the leads in Fiddler. I went because my son was in the chorus (which I couldn't believe), but when I heard both of their voices I knew I wanted to work with both of them. And I guess it was in the stars. So I felt very lucky when they called for lessons. I think Rachel might have studied a little before HS. Her voice was a beautiful instrument - a God given gift. I don't know anything after she went to the downtown high school. The Performing Arts High School. I just hope she lived life to the fullest, whatever that might have been for her. I will greatly miss her presence on this earth. Janet Boyer

To the Family of Rachel Myers,
I am so sorry for your loss. Rachel was one of my most talented students. She had an exceptional voice and great personality. I lose touch with a lot of my students after high school and I remember she went to the high school for the performing arts for the last two years. I can only guess how hard this is for the family. I will be praying for all of you to get through this most difficult time. She looks so beautiful in the picture. It looks like her beauty blossomed even more as she got a little older. I hadn't seen her for 18 years. I'm sure a lot happened in that time. I will miss her presence on this earth. God bless all of you.

My condolences to all of Rachel's family and loved ones. Prayers for everyone during this most difficult time. As a previous coworker of Dr. Myers at LUMC, we shared our stories raising our children and were like an extended family. Losing a child is so difficult to understand. Prayers for healing and peace to everyone's hearts. Words cannot express my heartfelt sympathies. Love, Cindy Haynes

Dear Myers family-
Rachel was the most caring, open minded sweetest girl, I have ever met. I'll never forget our years together as adolescents. Please know she will greatly be missed. Love you, Rachel.
