RAYMOND J., July 28, 2010. Beloved husband of Sue, loving father of Dawn (Brian) Redanauer, dear son of Raymond E. and the late Margaret, grandfather of Brian and Connor, dear brother of Kathleen (Lou) Valetto. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his vieiwng Sunday eve. 7 P.M. at THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME (Family Owned and Operated), 6421 Frankford Ave. at Levick St. Int. private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Raymond's memory to the Raymond Mackin Memorial Fund to benefit his grandchildren, c/o Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, 901 Arch St., Phila. PA 19107.

My sincerest condolences to Ray, Sr. and the entire Mackin family. I did not know Ray, Jr., but if he was anything like his dad, he was an amazing, wonderful, caring, funny man who will be missed by many.

No words can express the sorrow I am feeling. Ray was such a wonderful loving, caring, and funny guy. May he be at peace. He truly will be missed but never forgotten. I share the grief and heartfelt loss of Ray. Although he didn't have to, Ray treated me more like a brother, rather than just a brother-in-law. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family in our loss.
