RAYMOND W. WHENER Obituary

WHENER RAYMOND W. Passed away peacefully on June 28, 2021 at his residence in Marlton, NJ surrounded by loved ones; Ray was 91 years old. Born in Philadelphia to Wallace and Eva Whener, beloved husband of 69 years to Edna C. (nee Eckstein). Loving father of Raymond (Theresa) Whener, Stephen Whener and Eileen (John) Barry. Cherished granddad to Stephen (Lisa), Anthony (Courtney), Megan (Kevin), Sean (Laura), Shannon and R.J. Great granddad to Grace, Grayson, Ellie and Sammi. Brother of the late Lillian, Millie, Flossie. Ray was employed by the Philadelphia Inquirer; he was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his many trips to Hawaii. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at GIVNISH OF MARLTON, 398 East Main Street Marlton NJ 08053.His Funeral Service will follow at 11 A.M.
