RIMATO REMINGTON HAZARD October 6, 1988 - May 19, 2024 It is with great sadness that we must acknowledge the passing of Remington Clifford Hazard Rimato. Remy was born on October 6, 1988 in Voorhees, New Jersey and went home to the Lord on May 19, 2024. Those who were privileged to know him will always remember Remy for his generous heart and infectious smile. He had a gift for enriching the lives of others with his humor and laughter. Remy faced life's challenges with courage and strength. Remy loved the outdoors whether he was in the Adirondack Mountains of New York or at the ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. He was an avid surfer and an accomplished fisherman. His love of music came naturally from his father, singer and songwriter, Robert Hazard. Remington is survived by his mother, Susan Hazard Rimato (Selander) of Vero Beach, Florida and Old Forge, New York, his brother Rex Rimato of Austin, Texas and sister Corrina Rimato of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his two daughters Zoey Lillian Rimato and Sydney Marie Bissonnette of Sebastian, Florida whom he loved with his whole heart, his paternal aunt and uncle Pamela Rimato Tirone and Robert Tirone and maternal aunt Jeanne Marie Selander and many cousins and a myriad of friends who loved him dearly. Remy is preceded in death by his father Robert Dennis Hazard Rimato, his paternal grandparents Umberto Rimato and Lillian (Cook) Rimato and his paternal aunt Gloria Rimato, and his maternal grandparents Richard Alvin Selander and Audrey Ann (Duffy) Selander and maternal uncle John Richard Selander. Though he has left this world, his memory will live on in our hearts as a testament to the impact he made on those who had the pleasure and honor to know him and count him as a beloved friend. He will be dearly missed. The family has chosen to have a Private Memorial Service at the Big Moose Chapel in Eagle Bay, New York at a time to be determined.
