We were classmates and frat bros at Bucknell. We both enlisted in the Army ASTP program for Med school in 1943, but the Army saw fit to ship us (both) to (different) infantry divisions where Dick endured the horrors of the Bulge and his horrendous loss of legs while I had relatively minor nightmares. We returned to Bucknell afterwards and graduated in 1947. I have a photo of Dick, myself and two fellow graduates with our dates at the Senior Prom that year. If any family member would like a copy, please let me know.
