Of Cinnaminson, NJ, age 72, died on March 23, 2017, at Temple University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 16, 1944, in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward Lee and Harriet Ellen (Roy) Holland. A 1963 graduate of Radnor High School, he then pursued a degree in Architecture at Drexell University. Richard spent years living in Phila., where he developed a love for The City. In 1989, he married Derry Bresnahan. During his career he worked for several architectural firms, finally becoming a Principal at Vitetta, where he was project manager for many high profile projects, including the Philadelphia Convention Center. Richard was a lifelong Phila., sports fan, and had season tickets to the Union, and Temple Owls football. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Emilie (Charles Westcott) of West Kingston, RI, Michael and Patrick, of Cinnaminson, and his sister Jan Holland, of San Francisco, CA. He also leaves his friends Nate and Betty Passen, of Scotts-ville, VA. He will be missed by his many Bresnahan in-laws, who warmly embraced him into their family. A Memorial Service to celebrate Richard's life will be from 4 to 8 P.M., on FRIDAY, MARCH 31 at the Riverton Country Club, 1416 Highland Ave, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
