POWELL
RICHARD W. SR. "DICK" on April 15, 2016. Devoted father of Ronald, Robert (Christine) and the late Richard W. Jr. Beloved companion of the late Doris McCabe-Phy (nee Groves) and beloved step-father to her children. Loving pop of Christine, Erin, Andrea, Lauren and Ronnie. Dear brother of the late Francis (Alice), Robert (Catherine) and John (Kathleen). Sadly missed by his great grandchildren and his nieces. Dick was the proprietor of D and D Variety, at Tulip and York for 25 yrs. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service Tuesday 8 P.M. in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 E. Susuqehanna Ave, Fishtown, where friends may gather after 7 P.M. Graveside committal service Wednesday 11 A.M., East Cedar Hill Cem., SE Corner of Frankford and Cheltenham Aves.
