We just heard that Bob passed away....we would have done something if we had known. He was a great person we will long remember.

Bob and I were teammates on the Princeton track team for four years. Bob was a hurdler and Captain of the team in our senior year 1958. I spent many ours in training and track meets over four years. He was always cheerful and find to be around. Bob was a hurdler both high and low and I was a sprinter without anything to jump over. We last spoke at our 65th Princeton Reunion two years ago. Bob was also one of the Philadelphia 5 who took young Gordie Wu under our wings and help through his Princeton years. RIP Bob. Bruce and K and Nonie Krause Princeton Class of 1958.

Mary Lou and kids, I'm sorry. We loved Bob so much. At GBQC in the late 80s, I worked with him on an Op Ed for the Inquirer. He extolled the virtues of front porches in bringing neighbors together, recommending that porches be included in the rebuilding after the MOVE fire. Alas, the contract went to the lowest bidder and nondescript boxes were built. When Tom and I later looked for houses in the suburbs, it had to have a porch. Bob was one of the smartest, kindest people I have ever known.
