Bob was my neighbor in Boca Raton. I only had the pleasure of knowing Bob a few brief years, but he quickly became a man I both admired and loved. Whether we were riding motorcycles or flying in his plane, Bob was a joy to be around. I will miss Bob dearly... Bob was blessed with class and no dollar he ever earned bought him that... Our prayers are with Roz and the rest of the Lavin family.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Cousin Shelly called us to tell us. We are really in shock.
We can't be at funeral as we are living in Florida. But, our hearts will be with you all. We think of the old days and reminisance about when you came to us in the plane and slept over night. We had some funny things happen with you both, and some nice times at the Bar Mitzahs' and Weddings. He'll be missed. Fondly, Sue and Ron Cohen.

My family, Robert, Jennifer, Paul and me, niece of Robert Lavin, send our heartfelt sympathies to all the family. We regret that we are unable to attend the services and sit Shiva with the family, but please know that we share in your sorrow.
Robert Lavin to me was always affectionately… Uncle Bobby. Uncle Bobby was a dear friend to our family and saved us from many catastrophes. My earliest memory… for some reason, my parents were unable to bring me home from the hospital when I was a newborn; it was Uncle Bobby who picked my up from the hospital and brought me home. Imagine that!
There would be many more rough times for my sister, brother and I growing up, but for me, I never felt lost or scared because I knew Uncle Bobby would help out my mom and keep the family together. Today as an adult with my own family, I find Uncle Bobby’s many acts of kindness amazing.
For me, Uncle Bobby will always be remembered as someone who had no limit to his love and caring of his family and cared deeply about making this world a better to live.
