ROBERT LEVIS Obituary

LEVIS ROBERT JOHN, ESQ. July 17, 1932 - June 11, 2023 Of Marple Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Robert is survived by his spouse of 63 years, Anne (nee Murray). He was the son of James and Sara Levis and was born in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania with his brother James and sisters Joan IHM, Patricia, and Rosemary. He attended St. Philomena, West Catholic High School and Villanova University before graduating with a law degree from Villanova in 1959. He served in the US Army from 1954-56. Robert was the proud father to Suzanne Fahy (Tom), Robert (Barbara Ann) Daniel, Stephen (Anne), Joan Graner (Rick) and Maryanne Brignola (Armand). He was grandfather to Kelly, Claire, Megan, MaryGrace, Robert, Joanie, Monica, Rick, Jake, Olivia, Sofia, Armand and Gabriella, and ten great grandchildren. He relished the company of his family and friends throughout his long life. Robert was an attorney in Media, PA founding Levis, Connors, Swanick, retiring at age 88. He was an avid golfer, a fixture at Paxon Hollow golf course, and a generous supporter of charity. His conversation, wit and jokes will be missed. Visitation Monday, June 26, 2023, from 9:00-10:00 A.M., at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA. Memorial Mass Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Pius X Church.
