ROBERT L., of New Hope passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Hospice. His loving wife and family were by his side. Robert was the beloved husband of 50 years to Catherine Graham Macaulay. Born in 1939 to the late Roy and Florence Macaulay, Robert "Bob" grew up in the Oxford circle section of Phila. (St. Martin of Tours Parish). He was a member of the first graduating class of Father Judge HS in '57 where he also played on the baseball team. After graduating from LaSalle Univ. in '61 Bob then earned an MBA from Drexel Univ. He worked in the Investment Banking industry for the better part of 50 years with several firms including GE credit Corp in Phila. and Oxford Financial in NYC. He served on the City of Phila. planning commission in the late '70's and also taught at LaSalle University as well as chaired the corporate finance dept - evening division. Bob was an Avid tennis player, a big fan of sports, politics, history and a devout Catholic. Most importantly Bob and his wife of 50 years Cathy enjoyed spending time with their family. Bob and Carol White

January 19, 2016

Carol and I have very heavy hearts over the passing of our friend Bob. We will miss his delightful company, his animated conversations, his encyclopedic knowledge of history, sports and politics and his fierce loyalty to all Philadelphia sports teams. Were there a hall of fame for outstanding conversationalists, Bob would be a charter member. Bob's devotion to Cathy, his children and grandchildren was apparent, even to a casual observer. Rest in piece, my friend.
