PALESTINI ROBERT "BOB", ED.D. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 16, 2025, at age 83. He spent his entire professional life in education, beginning as a high school teacher and basketball coach. Subsequent to his appointment as the first lay Superintendent of Schools in the history of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, he returned to his alma mater, St. Joseph's University, to serve as the Dean of Graduate and Continuing Education. Bob is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter, Karen (Scott) and grandsons Rob and Brendan. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 12-1:30 P.M.
