Dear Rob, Scott, & Chris,
I send my sincere condolences in the passing of your father. Bob was a great guy. I have fond memories of holidays at your home with him, your mother, and a ton of the Ford family. I know he will be missed and I pray you find comfort in the memory of the life he lived...and we all know he lived his life to the fullest. Here and there I used to stop by your home on Eaton Road when I lived in Havertown. I'd walk around the back as I would usually knock on the kitchen door. Bob would already be outside during a lot of those visits, garage door up, beer close by, and polishing that Harley you boys bought for him. He loved that Harley...especially the loud pipes. He start by telling me to go grab a beer from the fridge and then he'd start in on the stories. He talk about his career as a Motorcycle Officer and how he "never dropped a bike, BUT...all the other guys did". He had that special grin and was always happy. He always asked about me and my mom and dad. He truly made me feel welcome and cared about...that was Bob. I loved these visits with him. So I hope my prayers for comfort, peace, and understanding are felt from afar. I'm sorry I couldn't travel up north to be there with you, but please know I've been praying and celebrating the life of your father. There's one man I'm happy to say I could call a friend...as well as family. God bless! Paul Michio
