Age 77, on Friday March 3, 2017. Former Philadelphia Fairmount Park Police Officer. Beloved husband of Sue (Markey). Father of Ron Jr. (Kelly) and Joseph (Karin); grandfather of Megan, Dana and Maddi; great-grandfather of 5. Visitation, Sat., Mar. 25, 2017, 12 until 2 P.M. at the JAMES J. DOUGHERTY FH, INC., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Memorial Service at 2 P.M. Int. private. Memorial contributions to The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter, 7 Library Way, Levittown, PA 19055 or to a charity of donors's choice.

Sue and Family, Our Hearts,Thoughts &Prayers are with you and the family.We remember the good times you had as family and all of our families together as they grew up.
.Ron has suffered so much of the last couple years and you were there every day to love,comfort and help with his care. Ron is now home with our lord and resting Peacefully. He is looking down with love and saying thank you. We send our love and know the Sun will shine again.

Dear Sue and Family,
Just wanted to extend our heartfelt condolences to all of you on the loss of your dear husband, dad and grandfather. Ron was a wonderful man who was very well liked and loved by many. I know you have been there by his side for quite some time and have gone through so very much. Know that you have been and still remain in my thoughts and prayers. God has welcomed Ron to his final resting place and has granted him the rest and peace he so deserves. God bless and watch over all of you.

I am so very sorry to hear about Ron passing away..I have wonderful memories of our families living on Bergen street back in the 1965,70,80? Etc turning on the fire hydrant,,sitting on the front steps for hours,all the kids running around.big Ron coming home from work parking his car in the front drive way,,always a smile with the wave..l am glad you all were in my life and my Ron rest in the arms of our Lord and be at peace...my sympathy for the entire family.
